wind solar hybrid street light in Norway
GTI LED is excited to begin delivering solar street lamps to the country of Norway
Because Norway is at a high latitude, the effective light time in winter is short, solar panels cannot be charged enough, and the temperature in winter is too low, and low temperature will directly affect the activity of lithium batteries. In response to these problems, GTI LED developed this Aurora series wind-solar hybrid solar street light。
Our lights are:
-
Fully Grid Independent
-
solar and wind supply energy together
-
Designed For Winds
-
Optimized For High Temperatures
-
Designed To Have Low Maintenance
-
Lithium battery low temperature heating function to ensure normal operation of street light in low temperature ebvironments
Our solar street lights have been installed around the globe from Saudi Arabia to the U.S. Virgin Island, we’ve been privileged to work in different environments
Many cities are looking for lighting to help them grow without expanding their grid load. Since our lights do not need to be connected to a grid, we can help encourage commercial growth by providing light to remote areas.
From Oslo to Bergen our lights make it easy to light remote stretches of highways and local ports
Our lights are also sought after by communities looking to become more environmentally friendly. Due to their all-in-one design, they are a perfect replacement for existing street lamps.
We take pride in the research and engineering that we have invested in our street lamp design.
A Better All-In-One Light
Our unique patented all-in-one street lamp design implements the lessons we have learned through our years of solar lamp installation.
This latest design uses advances in solar technology to create a more compact solar light system that is easier to install
The LEDs that we use in our lights are an important part of our system. We use Phillips 5050 LED Chips which produce exceptionally bright lumens at 160 – 170 lumens per watt.
The lightbars on our Stealth lights are adjustable to ±40°. To adjust the lightbars, you simply loosen the screw on the lightbar and then use the degree angle markings printed on the site to set the exact lighting pattern desired.
Another thing we have learned is that proper ventilation improves the performance of street lamps. We’ve designed our ventilation system to allow for ample airflow while still discouraging dust buildup on the components.
One of the advantages of this light is that it is easy to install.
Maintenance crews can install this light after minimal training. This helps to reduce costs and makes it easier to convert your city over to the latest in solar street lighting
The solar panels, battery, and power tracking modules are integrated into one housing. This makes it easier to install them on your lamp poles without any specialized electrician training.
These fully-integrated systems do not require any wiring.
We can also supply solar light poles. Our solar light poles are dipped and galvanized to make them resilient in all weather conditions. You can order them with the lights or as a stand-alone product, which makes this an easy, one-stop purchase.
It’s common to see our lights in use along highways and at ports. We offer three lighting options for our Aurora lighting systems:
6,400 lumens
12,800 lumens
19,200 lumens
One of the features of our series is the double built-in motion detectors. Offering detection up to 15 meters on each side of the light. This is a great way to conserve power consumption while still offering light when it’s needed.
There are several different ways you can program the motion sensors, depending on your needs. There is the Default Mode – this automatically operates at 50% brightness dusk to dawn. Sensor Mode when motion is detected, the light increases to 100% until no motion is detected, then returns to 30% brightness.
This innovative design feature allows our solar street lights to be used in the low light conditions of northern climates and helps them to perform at optimal levels during cloudy weeks.
A Better Panel
We discovered that the monocrystalline panel allows us to offer up to 50% more power production per unit area. This exciting development allows our panels to outperform expectations and provide the lighting you need.
The monocrystalline design also creates a more durable panel that is resistant to wind and dust. This helps our lights provide more consistent lighting with less downtime
A Patented Solar Charge Controller
While the light bars and the solar panels are both excellent, their performance requires an excellent charge controller.
Our all-in-one system includes a charge controller that uses patented MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) charging technology. This feature lets the controller increase the charge current by up to 30% more and can allow for better energy storage.
By creating more electricity with the solar panel and then storing more energy with our charge controller, we are able to provide a superior street lamp.
Our customers appreciate the longevity and reliability of our lighting system.
Our number one priority is meeting your needs.
While we offer many off-the-shelf products, we can also customize to your requirements.
One of the first steps would be to send in your requirements to begin a request for a proposal.
If you have questions on which lighting system is best suited for your location and project, you can speak with our engineers. Regardless of your project size or needs, we are prepared to serve you.
For overseas shipping, our lights can be provided with quality reports prior to shipping, and we can work with Bureau Veritas inspectors to ensure quality control.
